Chapter 4-Kenya, North of the Mara River

We were on the north side of the Mara River in the Masai Mara. Our base of operations is the Mara Intrepids Tented Camp. We were hoping for some more pictures of animals crossing the river but they didn't cooperate. Our guide said there was too much rain and the grass wasn't enticing enough yet to risk the predators like lions and crocodiles that lie in wait for animals exhausted by the crossing. On our late game drive we spotted an Aardwolf, a rarely seen nocturnal insectivore.
