Tiling the Floors of Our Italian Farmhouse + Bathroom Reveal - DIY Renovation & Restoration (#19)

In this episode we begin the monstrous job of tiling the whole house! We manage to complete the guest bedroom, hallway and landing at the top of stairs - it takes much longer than expected.

See how Ernie our Lagotto Romagnolo (Italian truffle dog) is getting on at the house, he’s very curious and often inspecting our work or just generally being in the way! 😂

We finally reveal our almost finished guest bathroom, the progress has come a long way. Our terrazzo tiles and black fixtures are looking really great. And the bathroom view Is very impressive.

We sold our apartment in Stockholm, packed up the car and headed for Piemonte. After a couple of months searching for the right house we came across Our Italian Dream House and immediately made an offer. Four weeks later (just three days before Christmas) we signed the contract and had the keys.

It's now early 2022 and we have begun work on the epic renovation that stands before us. We are mortgage free and have a very limited budget so plan to take on as much of the renovation ourselves as possible – follow us on our journey as we turn an abandoned Italian farmhouse into our dream home.
