Crazy Progress at the House and Visiting the Coast - Italian Farmhouse Restoration DIY Renovation

Our new Muratores begin working on the house and make staggering progress in a short space of time. To escape the building chaos we head down to the coast to enjoy a few days of sun and sea!

We sold our apartment in Stockholm, packed up the car and headed for Piemonte. After a couple of months searching for the right house we came across Our Italian Dream House and immediately made an offer. Four weeks later (just three days before Christmas) we signed the contract and had the keys.

It's now early 2022 and we have begun work on the epic renovation that stands before us. We are mortgage free and have a very limited budget so plan to take on as much of the renovation ourselves as possible – follow us on our journey as we turn an abandoned Italian farmhouse into our dream home.
