DIY Bathroom Build - 12 Weeks in 30 Minutes - Italian Farmhouse Renovation

Welcome to the story of Our Italian Dream House.

We sold our apartment in Stockholm, packed up the car and headed for Piedmont in Italy. After a couple of months searching for the right house we came across Our Italian Dream House and immediately made an offer. Four weeks later (just three days before Christmas) we signed the contract and had the keys.

It's now mid 2023 and work on this epic renovation is well underway. We are mortgage free and have a very limited budget so are taking on as much of the renovation ourselves as possible – follow us on our journey as we turn an abandoned Italian farmhouse in Piemonte into our dream home.

In this episode we DIY build a bathroom from scratch - from an abandoned bedroom to a luxury en-suite bathroom in just a few months. Watch to see the amazing transformation and makeover of our new bathroom.

We took the decision to build a walk-in/wet-room style shower with terrazzo tiles to honour the original details of a farmhouse from this era. It's been our biggest challenge to date, but we're really happy with the result!
