'Conventional' vs 'natural' winemaking in Greece with Maria Moutsou

In this webinar, Greek wine expert Maria Moutsou will be exploring Greece's best-known white and black grapes - Assyrtiko and Agiorgitiko - and taking a close look at how winemaking practices influence the style of the wines that they produce.

Maria Moutsou will be tasting two wines from each grape; one made by ‘conventional’ yet considerate winemaking and the other made by the application of the strictest of natural winemaking regimes, with 0% sulphites added on bottling.

Tasting along is completely optional, the following wines are included in the presentation:

Kontozisis A-Grafo Assyrtiko White 2019
Orange | PGI Karditsa | Thessaly | Central Greece| 14% ABV | Natural | Organic | Biodynamic | Vegan | No added sulphites

Vriniotis Assyrtiko Sur Lie White 2018
White | PGI Evia | Central Greece | 13.5% ABV

Aivalis Nemea Red 2014
Red | PDO Nemea | Peloponnese | 14% ABV |

Athanasiou Fysis Red 2016
