Variety in Focus: Sauvignon Blanc with Julia Lambeth

Sauvignon Blanc is undeniably one of the most important and popular white grape varieties. Planted in many countries around the world it is renowned from it’s fresh and aromatic style. But it is also capable of producing a diversity of styles - from dry wines to sweet wines and even some sparkling wines. It is able to reflect the growing conditions of the region it is planted in creating steely wines in Sancerre, rich styles in Bordeaux and tropical styles in New Zealand, to name but a few! In this one hour webinar Julia Lambeth will look at the characteristics of the grape variety, some of it’s history and some of the different regions around the world that it is grown in.
