That Moment When It All Clicks 👏 #shorts

That moment when you see all your work pay off and something just clicks for your dog is one of the best feelings. 🤩

This session with Fenway was so much fun. It doesn’t really matter that we’re just working on herding cues for fun — that feeling when it all starts coming together is still just as magical.

Things I really loved about this session:
• His “come by” cue is getting really clean, and he can now pass his reinforcement instead of ending at it — which is big for him. His spacing/bubble is also looking really nice for what I want.
• His distinction between “come by” and “away” has gotten much clearer. “Away” is still the harder one for him, but we’re getting there.
• His end-of-session cue is solid. I have a cue that clearly tells him we’re done with the flirt pole and to go find his ball instead.

This has become such a great enrichment outlet for him, and it’s been really fun expanding the skill and watching him pick up new pieces of it.
