Australia now sees three 'successful attempts’ of illegal boat arrivals onto mainland
Shadow Immigration and Citizenship Minister Dan Tehan says it seems as though Australia’s surveillance can not detect people smugglers after three recent successful boat landings in the country.
“We have now had three attempts to get people onto the mainland here in Australia,” he said.
“All three have been successful.
“Basically, Operation Sovereign Borders did not have a clue about how that boat got to mainland Western Australia.
“Then was able to remove itself without detection.”
