POSTERIOR CRUCIATE LIGAMENT & Plica syndrome( Knee Biomechanics)

Posterior Cruciate ligament of knee complex is discussed within focussing on biomechanics and anatomy of POSTERIOR CRUCIATE LIGAMENT OR PCL.PCL origins from medial femoral condlye(ANTEROLATERAL) and inserts in between two horns of menisci posteriorly(1 cm from joint line). The function along with the anatomy of two bundles of PCL as well as the role of muscles in relieving and stressing PCL is discussed.

The joint capsule of knee joint, its superficial and deep layer along with the clinical condition known as PLICA SYNDROME is discussed in detail. The causes of Plica syndrome along with treatment and pathophysiology is mentioned within. For more details or notes be free to contact on my social media platforms.
