Strengthening for Sore and Weak Necks | Feat. Tim Keeley | No.165 | Physio REHAB

Sore neck? Most sore necks are also weak muscle necks and in the clinic we work not just on improving ROM and pain levels, we work on strength. Especially postural strength which is what you need in the deep neck flexors and extensors of the neck. Many people miss the strengthening part because they haven’t been told or don’t know what to do. So here’s a video on the main exercises we use for strengthening necks to improve the ability to hold good postures and keep people out of pain and back to function. So important for the chronic neck pain sufferers!
