I want to dedicate this video to my momma! It’s her birthday today so I wanted to give her roses 😉 💖
This recipe can look a bit intimidating but it so easy! Your friends and family will be thinking you bought these from a bakery haha. Enjoy!

▶INGREDIENTS
- 2 red apples
- ½ lemon
- 4-5 cups of water
- 1 package puff pastry (thawed)
- 4 tbs. cherry preserves (your choice of fruit/optional)
▶ INSTRUCTIONS
- Prepare a bowl half filled with water and lemon juice
- Cut the apples in half, remove the core, and cut in thin slices
- Quickly place sliced apples in bowl so that they won’t darken
- Microwave the apples in the bowl for 4 min. or until they are soft enough to bend
- Unwrap the puff pastry and using a rolling pin, stretch the dough
- Cut the dough in 4 strips, each about 2 in. thick
- In a bowl, place 4 tablespoons of cherry preserves (or your choice of fruit jam) with 2 tbs. of water
- Microwave for 1 min. so it’s easy to spread
- Grease cake mold (or muffin mold)
- Preheat the oven to 375F
- Spread a thin layer of preserves on each strip of dough
- Overlap the apple slices on dough, make sure the skin top sticks out
- Fold up the bottom part of the dough and press to seal together
- Starting from one end, carefully roll and seal the end with finger
- Bake for 45 min. (depending on oven), keep checking the bottom
- If apples cook faster, loosely cover with aluminum foil
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and powdered sugar
