I Upgraded My Longines Hydroconquest 39 With A $13 Integrated Rubber Strap #watch #longines

The world of dive watches is vast with the likes of Rolex Submariner, Omega Seamaster 300M, Tudor Black Bay line, and the Pelagos line. Of course, we also have the likes of Seiko and Citizen. Longines has had the Hydroconquest, a solid diver dive watch, in their line up but it was in need of an update. Longines finally gave the line a huge update in 2023 by offering the extremely popular Hydroconquest GMT. However, while 41mm is a great size, the watch community has been asking for a smaller and thinner version of the Hydroconquest.

Longines answered our prayers by releasing the new Hydroconquest 39 Diver by offering it in a 39mm size that so many of us have been asking for. And just to make us happier Longines made the watch 11.7mm thin and gave it a much needed 20mm lug width. And all at the price of $2,200 which is incredible value especially when compared to Tudor Black Bays

I couldn’t believe my eyes and I immediately knew that I wanted one. So I’ve now owned my black dial Hydroconquest 39 for a week so the question remains: despite the hype, is the watch actually as good in real life?

In this video I’m going to get into two integrated rubber straps that happen to work on this Hydroconquest 39. Who knew that Omega seamaster 300M straps and Omega X Swatch Moonswatch (Omega Speedmaster) straps can work so well!
