Scania is the most southern tip of Sweden, 40km of beach stretch to the Baltic and is known as the "eel coast". From the end of August until the start of November it is peak season for the remaining local eel fishermen like Hånsa Olofsson. Together with his family he hosts eel parties, at which an array of eel dishes are served – whether smoked, fried and cooked all are delicious.
What's cookin' is about traditional culinary recipes from different European regions.
