Important: Exercise extreme caution when unpacking your new E blinds. Care must be taken when using knives or scissors as any cuts to the fabric or cord are not covered by warranty.
You will need: Tape measure, step ladder, pencil, screw drill
List of components:
Mounting brackets quantity 2 Note: Quantity may vary depending on Blind Width
Hold down clips quantity 2
Child safety device quantity 1
Screws (for timber installation only)
Outside mount bracket installation
Step 1: Measure your head rail width
Step 2: Mounting bracket should be approximately 8cm (25mm Venetian) and 20cm (50mm Venetian) from each end of the headrail. Space any remaining brackets if applicable evenly across the headrail no more than 50cm apart NOTE: Be sure that the bracket placement does not interfere with any components inside the headrail as shown below
Step 3: Hold the bracket in position on the architrave and mark the holes for the screws through the back of the bracket with a pencil
Step 4: Using your pencil marks as a guide, start by predrilling the holes to avoid splitting the timber
Step 5: Hold the bracket in place and secure to the surface with the screws provided. For plaster, brick, steel or aluminium surfaces contact your local hardware store for the correct fittings
Step 6: Insert the front lip into the corresponding slot on the Headrail
Step 7: ensure the blind is centered on the window and then Push and rotate the headrail backward toward the window until a click is heard. This means that the headrail is engaged into the brackets
Step 8: Be sure the blind is secured into each bracket before operating the blind

Inside Mount Bracket Installation
Step 1: Measure your headrail width
Step 2: Mounting bracket should be approximately 8cm (25mm Venetian) and 20cm (50mm Venetian) from each end of the headrail. Space any remaining brackets (if applicable) evenly across the headrail no more than 50cm apart. Note: ensure that the bracket placement does not interfere with any components inside the headrail as shown below

Step 4: Using your pencil marks as a guide, start by predrilling the holes to avoid splitting the timber
Step 5: Hold the bracket in place and secure to the surface with the screws provided. For plaster, brick, steel or aluminium surfaces contact your local hardware store for the correct fittings

If mounting onto a door you may wish to use the enclosed optional hold down clips:
With the blind at its full dropdown length place the pins on the hold brackets into the corresponding holes on the base rail and mark with a pencil where to drill your screw holes. Allow some wiggle room between the end of the base rail and the hold down clip to make it easier to remove the blind when required

Child Safety Device (if applicable)
Warning- Young children have died by wrapping loose curtain and blind cords or chains around their necks.
If required secure child safety device at 1600 mm from ground level. Be sure to pre-drill your holes first to avoid damage to your architrave
Secure cords or chains with the supplied Child Safety Device by winding them around a cleat.
Move cots and furniture away from window covering cords or chains
To avoid creating a possible strangulation hazard for children, this corded internal window covering must be installed in such a way that a loose cord or chain cannot form a loop of 220MM or longer at a height of less than 1600mm above floor level
Child Safety Device is not required If the end of the chain loop is more than 1.6 meters above floor level.
If the end of the chain loop is below 1.6 meters above floor level, the Child Safety Device is required
