How to take pallets apart with jigsaw & experimental wood splitter screw seen on saltyshellback

This was an experiment to see if a large wood splitter screw could be used to help take apart pallets. I watched Oscar at SaltyShellBack https://www.youtube.com/user/saltyshellback
use this device a few days ago and he was taking apart small pieces of firewood with it until his new drill burned out. I was wondering if it would work on small pallet wood and my cheap Ryobi drill. Unfortunately, the drill was not very powerful and actually, a hammer did a better job than the drill would have done on the pallet wood.
If you have a straight edge and a jigsaw or a Skil saw, you can cut the usually rotten ends off the pallet boards and wiggle them off the centerpiece. It helps to have a nice table. Nearly everybody I see taking apart pallets has them on the ground where it is way too much work for me.
