I Turned a Spoon into a DRAGON and SWORD! | ASMR, kind of

Hi guys, it's good to be back at it again!! In this video I turned a simple old stainless steel spoon into a dragon and sword. This one was quite a challenge, as I had to figure out how to design the dragon just right so that the sword locks in by tension with the dragon at certain points, using the curvature of the spoon.

As you've seen in most of my videos, I used the trusty ol' jeweler's saw to do most of the cutting. By the time I got done cutting out the dragon, (which seemingly took FOREVER) I decided to make quick work of the sword and use my angle grinder instead. Each piece was sanded down all the way to 1200 grit sandpaper, then super fine steel wool, and finally finished up with white polishing compound on my Dremel using a buffing bit.

Then of course, what's a dragon without FIRE!? I used a simple Harbor Freight micro torch for heat bluing the steel. Originally I had planned for a more consistent blue with a fade out to purple, but that was quite difficult with the very narrow flame. HOWEVER, I really love how it wound up giving the dragon a random, kind of galactic appearance of coloring on the dragon.
