THRIFTING VINTAGE ALL OVER TOWN! | ANTIQUE HUNTING ON THE CHEAP

FLEA MARKET, THRIFT SHOPS AND VINTAGE VALUES | RESELLER SHOPPING DAY

An impromptu flea market, a crazy fun vintage thrift shop and a run of small and large thrift stores make for a fun day shopping in this video! Come along with my cousin Curbdigger Carl and me while we explore bargain venues around town in search of vintage values.

After meeting for a cursory glance at Salvation Army, it's off to the first flea market to open since last year! Beneath a '57 Chevy atop an old time burger stand, vendors offer everything from exotic fruit to vintage kitchen ware. Could a $2 book become the find of the day?

On an obscure side street, a storefront hides behind stacked furniture, a skeleton throne and crazy reclaimed and repurposed art, so we have to stop and see! Turns out it's What Goes Around Vintage Thrift, where feline greeters lead us into a wild world of thrifty bargains and vintage collectibles stacked to the ceiling. Oddities and props used to decorate weddings, haunted houses and hip hotspots sell alongside furniture, resale clothing, vintage housewares and fun finds galore! A lot of great things come to us here, including a Soreno music box table, Vallerysthal boudoir items and a cool footbal trophy. This place is a potential reseller gold mine!

From there, it's a whirlwind trip to thrift stores around town. Will the big chain thrift store be the place to find the cool stuff, or will we do better at the small local thrifts? We find Fiesta ware, prints, vintage glass and Golden Girls rattan as we comb through the thrift shops to ferret out things we can add to our collections, or flip for a profit. At the end of the day, we go home with a bag full of fun finds and some cool items to list online and share at antique shows!

Doors ephemera, vintage vinyl, Frankoma teapot, blue Bubble tableware, Daily Bread plate, Raggedy Ann, iron fence, repurposed cyborg figures, 1920 Coke ad, antique mirrors and frames, lavish 1960s lamps, Victorian antique clock, repurposed microscope case, cat/fishbowl windowed jewel box, chippy owl figure, globes, toreador and unicorn velvet paintings, 1970s French style armchair, dolls, clowns, Salton bun warmer, cafe ware shakers, vintage books, repurposed robot figure, Pyrex mushroom, etc.
