Chocolate PB Barfi Fudge by Chef Vineet Bhatia
Peanut butter barfi
275g milk powder
175ml milk
100g sugar
3 tablespoon peanut butter
Oil to grease the tray
Silver leaf to garnish
Rose petals to garnish
Mini chocolate balls to garnish
Bring milk and sugar to a boil in a heavy bottomed pan, add the milk powder and cook the mixture while stirring continuously.
Once the mixture becomes smooth, stir in the peanut butter and mix together till smooth.
The mixture is ready when it begins to leave the bottom and the sides of the pan.
Spread the fudge mixture on a greased tray and let it cool for 30 minutes to firm up.
Chocolate barfi
140g milk powder
90ml milk
50g sugar
2 teaspoon cocoa powder, unsweetened
Bring milk and sugar to a boil in a heavy bottomed pan, add the milk powder and cook the mixture while stirring continuously.
Once the mixture becomes smooth, stir in the cocoa powder and mix together till smooth.
The mixture is ready when it begins to leave the bottom and the sides of the pan.
Spread this chocolate barfi on the peanut butter barfi
Garnish with silver leaf, rose petals and chocolate balls.
Cut into 1 inch squares and cool the mixture for 30 minutes to firm up.
