DIGITAL NOMAD PICNIC & CASTLE HILL ADVENTURES | TRAVEL VLOG #23

Life as a digital nomad in Budapest is pretty awesome! In this video we go to a digital nomad picnic on Margaret Island (Margitsziget) in the middle of the Danube river, and we visit the beautiful Castle Hill on the Buda side of the city. Margaret Island is the perfect place to go and hang out with friends – or go for a jog if you're into that kind of stuff. There's so much to see and do in Budapest, and in this video, I'll show you a few of my favourite spots :)

Hi there! I'm Anne-Li – Danish girl, globetrotter, travel vlogger, blogger and digital nomad traveling the world with my partner in crime and long-term boyfriend Mathias. Spending a month in Budapest every summer taught us that traveling does not have to be expensive and that slow travel is the way to go – for us.

We have been traveling full-time since September 2016, and we usually base ourselves in one place for at least a month or two. This way of traveling is not only budget friendly – it also means that we can take our time and really explore and enjoy the place we're in. We eat local food, shop at local markets, meet local people and enjoy experiencing different cultures – all the while seeking out the best wifi and exploring everything there is to explore.
