It was Winter Solstice and the day of a rare star called the Winter Star. It was a perfect day to birth a baby!
I got a text that Ally was heading to the birth center that is normally an hour from me. The birth I was at was in Ogden, Utah as well so I only had to drive 5 minutes down the road.
Ally labored for a short time with the support of her husband and midwife. Ally started to push a bit so she decided to hop in the birth tub. Baby Holland made her way earthside just moments later! What a triumphant and beautiful birth on such a beautiful day.
