The Birth of Nimerah | Baby Girl Born in her Sac (En Caul)

Luisa texted me later in the night thinking contractions might be starting. With this being her second baby, I had a feeling that things would go quickly (those second babies though!) so I got ready and headed her way. When I arrived, her doula was there supporting her and her midwife was on her way. Luisa's mom and sister showed up and her older son woke up to join in the fun. He was so sweet with his mama, giving her loves as she worked through the contractions. Soon, it was time to get in the pool where things became much more intense. Luisa started to push and the plan was to have her sister catch...so she moved in front of her. Baby girl started to emerge en caul (still in her sac) and we were all so excited to watch. She was born into her auntie's hands and everyone cried with joy!
