SICK IN SINGAPORE: Changi Airport, MRT, and Little India // 209

If you saw yesterday's video, you know I stayed up overnight in Changi Airport exploring all they had to offer. While I had a great time exploring and filming it, it turns out I'm too old for all-nighters now! 😂 It seemed so much easier in high school and college.

Therefore, with the best intentions of exploring Singapore today, I wound up spending most of the time in bed and the time I wasn't in bed, I was just sick.

I nearly passed out before having lunch at a great place called Woodlands in Little India, Singapore. Thankfully, the waiter basically ordered for me because I couldn't see the menu past the black spots. The tray (feast?) came out and I couldn't believe all the food that was there! No, I couldn't eat everything, but it was darn good! And all for only about $3.00.

After lunch, my adventurous plans dissipated quickly. I found my bed and napped for a few hours. Thankfully, I could see straight when I woke up, but I began feeling like I had the worst hangover ever. My body was achy, I was nauseas, I had stomach pains, and I was losing it a bit.

I managed to get to MSeven Cafe, a place I found online which serves waffles! The waffles were exactly what I needed and very delicious. Instead of visiting the Gardens by the Bay afterward, I backtracked to the hostel and put myself to bed nice and early.

MORAL of the story: Don't do what I did--do not try to pull an all-nighter between two busy days of activity (or probably at all) because you'll likely end up sick!
