Nice Late 70s Jazz Ballad

Finally, i'm back with another video. This is simply another one of my mystery tunes. I have never put any piece of this tune on YouTube. It is of course one of those jazz tunes from roughly November, 1979, recorded from KACV FM90 in Amarillo, TX. As with most of these clips, i believe it is from a mainstream jazz artist, or at least someone from a major american record label. I don't know why that's what i think, it's just a hunch. The band on this thing sounds like a 10 piece date because of the woodwinds and brass. I noticed that there's an acoustic bass and the distinct sound of the Fender Rhodes electric piano (NOT a Wurlitzer or Yamaha). I don't think this is Chick Corea. It may be Quincy Jones unless he was more progressive funk by the time the Fender Rhodes was in common use. I wish it was one of the 2 Woodys (Herman or Shaw). Oh, well, no matter. Please everybody give a listen, I'm dying to know your opinion. If all i had to check this stuff was WatZatSong.com, i'd just be dying. I have had some bad experiences trying to identify stuff on that site. YouTube makes it possible to use Mooma.sh, and sometimes YouTube will talk about their "Ad Free" stuff and identify something for you right away.

Unfortunately, nearly 40 year old Light Jazz and fusion aren't usually popular enough for a copyright holder to hover over. Maybe i'll get lucky with this one. Please check out other videos of mine like "Unknown Jazz Song Number 11." Gracias.
