Old English WW1 WW2 Whistles - The ACME, J Hudson, The Metropolitan

I have 3 old British whistles. The two genuine ones are "The ACME" and one which is a British military one from 1943 which has no model branding other than the company name J. Hudson & CO. The other one looks like a modern reproduction called "The METROPOLITAN".

The military one is the classic sound I think of when I look at a whistle of this type, a smooth 2 tone sound. The modern Metropolitan repro sounds too high pitch and takes more effort to get both tones to come out and it has a slight trill to it. The old one from my grandpa has a very easy 2 tone sound but has a trill sort of what I would expect from a typical whistle that has a pea in it. Very odd, but cool.

If anyone has any info on my "The ACME" one which is in old brass, as to how old it might be, I would love to know.

Please like, subscribe and I will see you next time!

Enjoy
