New Hellfire Missiles Just Tripled the Reaper Drone’s Range
A new long-range Hellfire air-to-surface missile was recently tested by the National Guard. The test revealed that the new missile significantly increased the range of the Hellfire—by a factor of three. The Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Command Test Center (AATC) recently participated in Valiant Shield 2022, a 12-day joint training exercise aimed at bolstering the collaborative ability of US Military forces by conducting integrated operations with the Air Force, Army, Navy, and Marine Corps, according to a press release.
