ERICH WOLFGANG KORNGOLD ~ The Prince & the Pauper 1937

One of my favourite sequences from Korngold's delightful score to the 1937 version of Mark Twain's charming story 'The Prince and the Pauper' which starred real-life twins Billy & Bobby Mauch, and Errol Flynn. In this original acetate of the actual music soundtrack, we hear the Warner Orchestra conducted by Korngold himself with concert master Dan Lube providing the lovely solos, as Korngold looks back over his shoulder to his own boyhood mentor ~ Gustav Mahler.
