Original recording from the Berlin production of Korngold's highly successful adaptation of Johann Strauss II operetta, featuring the great Marcel Wittrisch and Lotte Schöne. Erich Kleiber conducted the premiere and the first 3 weeks of the run, but here, Clemens Schmalstich (who took over) is on the podium.
