On Mondays, I go online and order a few things and I schedule the deliveries so that each item arrives on different days throughout the week. They don’t have to be anything I really need. Just anything that adds a little bit of comfort or joy in my life.
It could be a smartphone case or a cheap pair of sunglasses. The idea is to give myself something to look forward to + as I start a new week. I know it’s stupid but it certainly puts me in a better mood on Mondays.

Experiencing a variety of things can certainly be good, but you can’t underestimate the fact that life is short. I think it’s best if you have a larger goal that you can consistently work towards and try to expand your experience within that area.

A: Would you rather have many casual friends or just a few very close friends?
B: But I already have both.
A: OK. Well, then let’s say you just have to choose one or the other and that’ll be it from now on.
B: Well, I gotta say, having a lot of friends is fun. But I do find it a bit exhausting at times, especially as I get older. I think everybody needs people(at least one person) they can really open up to. So, if I had to choose one or the other, I guess I’d choose to have a few very close friends. How about you?
