“Could you stop using that for a second? It’s giving me a headache.”

Something I had for dinner last night gave me a really bad stomachache.

Could I open the window? The smell is making me nauseous. / The smell is giving me a nausea.
I think I’m going to throw up.
The smell makes me want to throw up.

A: Oh, look! They have watermelon juice!
Do you want to get one?
B: No. I’m good.
A: Really? It says “No added sugar”.
B: Yeah. Well, watermelon tends to give me the trots. So, I’m good.
… tends to make me sick

“Let’s get out of here. This place gives me the creeps.”

“Oh that? I called it off. I was on the phone with him for less than a minute and, I don’t know, he gave me a really weird vibe.
( I got a really weird vibe from him. )

I think I watched that documentary like three times and I still couldn’t understand everything, but it did give me some insight into things. I was actually quite amazed at how little I understood economics and finance.

The blog post didn’t go into a lot of detail, but it did give me a pretty good general idea of what to expect.

A: Do you know how electric cars work?
B: Yeah. I have a pretty good idea.

- go into detail : 세부적인 내용을 다루다 / 세부적인 것까지 들여다 보다
- go into the details : 세부 내용을 훑어 보다 / 검토하다

Instead of just explaining everything, why don’t I just show you? I think that’ll give you a much better understanding of what you’ll be doing.
