For Kukla, Fran and Ollie fans: here's a piece I did in October, 2007 forWTTW's "Chicago Tonight" program on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the first KFO broadcast. Featured are segments from KFO's third anniversary show in 1950, as well as their first show after NBC cut them back from 30 to 15 minutes: note how Oliver J. Dragon is able to fit the same content in half the time. Hugh Downs, an NBC Chicago staff announcer, is heard but not seen in this clip. Phil Ponce introduces the segment
