The Willows - guitar arrangement by Richard Greig

This is my arrangement of a beautiful composition by Nathan Mills (known on YouTube as Beyond The Guitar). I never heard what Nathan did with the piece for his guitar version. For my guitar version though I created some cool harmonies by letting the melody notes ring out creating cool extensions and voicings. The harmonics definitely helped letting the melody notes ring out (especially for the notes out of reach) so that's pretty much what led to my approach for this piece. Interestingly, Nathan originally composed this piece as a duet with just two voice lines played on violin and cello. It was fun putting chords to this besides just the two voices. I hope you enjoy my arrangement of this very beautiful piece.
