Key features of Public Brokerage App:

1. Commission-free trades - a must for the millennials

2. Community/social network vibe - think Twitter meets Robinhood

3. High interest cash account (2.5% APY) for uninvested funds - This is literally one of the highest yields in any cash account I've seen.

4. Not just stocks - Public offers a wide variety of equity products, such as ETFs, mutual funds, bonds, etc that you can invest in.

And finally...

4. Fractional shares - or Slices as they are called... Robinhood offers this but there is a really long wait list... I've been waiting for months!

The only problem that I have with it so far is that there is no recurring deposit, but they should be implementing that soon.
