Congress has agreed to test the universal basic income waters by issuing stimulus checks to the American people in an attempt to economy rolling.

Single people making under $75,000 per year will get $1,200. Married people making under $150,000 will get $2,400, and families get an additional $500 per child. The amounts go down as income rises above $75k ($150k if married) and eventually tapers off to zero at $100,000 ($200,000 if married). The difference between single and married is split if head of household.
The three things you should do with your stimulus check money:
1. Max out 3-6 month emergency fund
2. Pay down high interest debt
3. Invest
