Instant Pot Natural Dog Treats

Make your own Natural Dog Treats in your Instant Pot.

You'll need:
A very large, or a couple of medium sized sweet potatoes.
A 2- pound package of carrots.
1 cup natural peanut butter (NO Xylitol)!

Cut the carrots and sweet potatoes into large chunks. Place them on a steaming rack in the Instant Pot. Pressure cook on high for 8 minutes, then carefully do a quick release. Remove the carrots and sweet potatoes, remove the rack, drain the Instant Pot, put the carrots and sweet potatoes back. (You can also just conventionally steam them in a steamer or pot).

Add I cup of peanut butter to carrots and sweet potatoes. Mash together with a potato masher, old school.

Place tablespoonfuls of mixture on dehydrator trays, flatten slightly, pierce in several spots with a chopstick or similar, and dehydrate over night at 135 degrees. Alternatively, place on greased cookie sheet and place in oven at lowest temp, around 170 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake until crisp. Keep in an airtight jar.
