"Colorado" (Demon) by Nikce [All Coins] | Geometry Dash 2.11

I've uploaded some levels by Nikce in the past, but it's been a few years since the last time. Seeing a video of this, I really liked the colors, so I gave it a shot. The colors delivered as expected, featuring many good color combinations and pulses synchronized to the song. A good example of this is the Dual at 0:46. Aside from the colors, there are also many nice block designs, decorations, and backgrounds. Many of the backgrounds feature neat effects, such as the parallax one at 0:30. Some parts are a bit more boring in this sense, but that's fine to me since it's mostly for the calmer parts of the song.

The gameplay is also quite enjoyable. It's easy to sightread from your first attempt, as most parts flow smoothly and are quite lenient on the player. There are only a couple of parts I'd watch out for a little, such as the Dual at 0:45; you need to click quite precisely at the arrows, and an asymmetrical Dual can easily throw a player off regardless. There's also the transition at 0:55, where you need to be ready to jump right after the dash orb. These things are easy to get down with some practice, though. Overall, this deserves an Epic Easy Demon rating.

- COIN RATING -
Gold. 3/4. This only has one coin, which is both hidden and harder than the normal path. It's also executed quite well. The coin isn't the most original conceptually, which is why it doesn't quite reach up to Viprin Certified, but it's got everything else.

• 1st coin: Gold. At 0:38, there is a tiny red line on the upper structure, hinting towards this being used for something. This is a pressure plate of sorts, which I've seen for a few coins in the past, but it's still a welcome way of unlocking coin paths. Since it's on the upper structure, it's clear that you have to be upside-down somehow (you aren't in the normal route), so skipping the previous green orb is the way to go. This makes for an alternate path, in which an animated monster helps you open up a path into the structure at 0:42. The execution is very good. After this, the coin is found at 0:42, before you return to the normal route. Some of the timings for this alternate path are a little tricky, requiring you to click either early or late, which isn't much of a concern for the normal route. With everything in mind, this coin deserves a Gold rating.
