"United" by Unzor | Geometry Dash 2.11

This has already been rated Epic, made Daily, and uploaded on some channels, but since it's such a banger, I gotta upload it despite all that. Unzor loves to release levels very early in the day, and RobTop loves to rate them very quick. That's just how it is.

It has been a while since Unzor's last level, but I've seen him talk about his next work on Twitter, so I was very excited to finally play this. He certainly did not disappoint. Not only is this much longer than his recent works, it also includes what I loved about his levels in the past the most: Cute, animated creatures. One thing I find charming about Unzor's levels, and that's quite funny to think about, is that he's one of the only creators who animates creatures that help you rather than attack you. Pretty much everyone only does that for bosses. The whole part at 0:57 feature these bugs flying around you, destroying a few walls here and there to let you pass. It's a fun addition that makes this very unique. Of course, it's executed extremely well as you'd expect from Unzor. This part's visuals does last a little long, and changing it up halfway through could've made the level a bit less repetitive; it doesn't change before 1:50. However, this and the other parts in the level look so nice that it's not really a big deal to me.

Just like the level's visuals, the gameplay is very high quality. To demonstrate just how sightreadable it is to play, which is what you want in a 5 Star level, I beat this on my first attempt. There weren't many close calls either. It's very intuitive, but it's also enjoyable to play. A small thing I enjoyed gameplay-wise was sliding off the roofs at 0:06. It's small, but little additions like this make Unzor's levels stand out even more to me besides the great art. All in all, this obviously deserved the Epic 5 Star rating, and I hope a lot of people enjoy playing this as the Daily level.
