"Royal Roost Ruins" (Demon) by Glubfuberz | Geometry Dash 2.2

I've never heard of this creator before, and it seems like they haven't released much before this, so seeing the quality really impressed me. It's a nearly 2-minute long level with great theming thanks to fitting art and designs. Both aspects maintain a consistent and unique style throughout, making the level feel very personal. The color mixing never gets boring either, with several colors mixed nicely at all times. It's mainly blue, with some red towards the end, and there are a lot of darker shades of these. These are very "royal" colors, which fit the theme implied by the name: the ruins of an ancient kingdom. Throughout the level, you repeatedly see imagery of a dragon, and at the climax, it shows up in the background. The design of this dragon is really well-done, especially in its animation. It's not a bossfight or anything, but it still makes these parts much more intense to see a huge dragon flying in the background. In the last part, you can see it flying away in the sunset, which is a pretty satisfying visual ending to the level.

The gameplay also lives up to the consistency and quality of the visuals, making this a complete experience. Every part feels roughly as difficult, with only some of the climax being a bit harder due to the increased speed. This also makes sense I think, as long as it isn't too much harder, which isn't the case here. Due to this, as well as the overall length, it will probably be an Easy Demon in difficulty. As for the rating, I think this could get a Legendary rating. There isn't much that I could see improved here, as the execution of theme is handled pretty much perfectly. I also like how it has some length to it, as some great Classic levels cut off closer to 1 minute, leaving you wanting it a bit more when you beat it.
