JOHN DEERE 317 MOWING TALL GRASS

The last time you saw the John Deere 317 was in Part 13 of my garden tractor restoration. Today the weather was perfect to get the path in the woods cut with the 48" mower deck on the John Deere. There hasn't been much rain in our area this summer, so I just cut the path once this year and the tractor didn't seem
to mind the tall grass!
I couldn't believe that it would chew through all that tough grass, and not bog down once! The engine rebuild was successful on my end and now I know, that there is no lack of power
from the engine to the transaxle and off the PTO to the mower deck. I'm just really glad everything works!!!
