LA River Follies Season 2
Los Angeles City Councilmember Mitch O'Farrell presents LA River Follies Season 2.
Los Angeles City Councilmembers Mitch O'Farrell and Jose Huizar race through the concrete channel of the LA River, and along the banks of the Arroyo Seco confluence to find Golden Paddle honoree Enrique Saldivar of the Bureau of Sanitation. The award serves to promote recreation along the LA River and stewardship among the LA Council Districts that touch the urban waterway.
The video made its debut during the second annual LA River Day at LA City Hall. The event shines the spotlight on the progress the city and other stakeholders are making to improve the river.
