Soloing Secrets - Jeff Beck

Hey everyone! Here's the next episode of Soloing Secrets with Jeff Beck. As I've admitted in other videos on the channel, Jeff Beck is my favorite guitarist - period. His music, playing style, phrasing, tone, feel, and energy have impressed/inspired me since I was a teenager and my admiration for him and his music continues to this day.

This lesson focuses on several specific and common areas within Jeff's playing style, and this includes his fondness for using a variety of pentatonic scales - including the elusive Dominant Pentatonic and Hybrid Pentatonic variations. Once Jeff's favorite scales are under your belt, you'll find plenty of quirky bending moves, tremolo bar manipulation ideas, blues-based melodic phrases, and much more hiding in this lesson.

We're also exclusively using a fingerstyle/pluck technique during this lesson, which will give you a glimpse into Jeff's world of plucking and hitting the strings using his signature fingerpicked approach, so if you haven't investigated this style of picking/plucking the strings and would like to dive into that world - this episode is for you!
