Weekend Forecast Brings 70s & Rain for the Kern Mountains (October 5th, 2018)

Morning weather forecaster Aaron Perlman shares an amazing forecast for the first weekend of October. Partly cloudy skies most of the weekend with highs in the upper 70s; below normal. Late Saturday into Sunday a low pressure system drops to the northeast of the state. I will provide wrap-around moisture Sunday afternoon for the Kern mountain & desert areas. Right now a 30% chance of rain is forecast for that area. No rain for Bakersfield. However... wind gusts reach 30 MPH in eastern Kern County late Saturday and Sunday. Breezy weather in the south valley.
