Gallina Pinta, Spotted chicken?

Hello everyone, in this video, I will be making Gallina Pinta. This recipe is from Sonora, Mexico. This is a Beef Hominy stew with bean broth. I had always wondered why it is called Gallina Pinta. I had thought it had chicken but it doesn't! The soup is called gallina pinta because of the combination between the beans and hominy that looks like the colors on a chicken. It is such a comforting meal that feeds the whole family. Thanks for watching!
