"Hello In There" (John Prine) cover by Dennis Anthonis

At 73, I'm acquiring a certain degree of respect for older people. They have a lot to say, if anyone is interested and will take the time to listen.
     I'm not sure when Mr. Prine wrote this exactly, although I do know that it was a while back when he was much younger. I consider it a masterpiece, perhaps his best. Anyway, I hope I do it some justice.
