Basic Compact Tractor Snow Clearing Setup

This is my basic compact tractor snow clearing setup. With snow falling almost daily here, I often find myself out in the cab of my tractor with heat pumping and the radio going. Not a bad setup if you ask me. From the operator's seat, I'm often looking out the back of the tractor as I work my rear-mounted PTO snowblower into snowbank after snowbank. Some people may say that this looks painful and truthfully, after snowblowing for several hours with your neck cranked backwards, it can be. With 3 rear-facing mirrors at my disposal, the neck cranking isn't always necessary and in fact, the addition of my rearview camera makes it even less so. Watch today as I take you through my general snow removal setup for my Kioti DK40 se HST tractor which is paired up with a 78" MK Martin Meteor snowblower with hydraulic-controlled chute. Match that to the stock loader and 72" bucket and you've got my snow fighting setup covered. I prefer to have a bucket available on the loader of my tractor for moving snow banks and clearing snow away from decks and buildings with precision. Glad you're all here!
