Building a Platform for Saw Logs | Sawmill Shed Build - Episode 14

I'm building a platform for saw logs as I near the end of my sawmill shed build. The saw log platform is being built on a slight slope with the goal of being slightly higher than my sawmill log bed to allow for logs to roll easily onto my sawmill. Watch as I take you through the layout of these cheap an easy log bunks from digging and placing concrete blocks, to the final nailing of the logs. In this situation I'm using logs that were used previously in a structure of mine and repurposing them for these log bunks. Ideally I'd have an endless supply of steel available to weld up a nice, sturdy saw log platform but that isn't the case unfortunately. As a result of this, I'm using some basic tools like my trusty chainsaw to wrangle-up these old logs into a saw log platform that will surely be good enough for me. With a few tips and tricks being shared in this video, episode 14 of the sawmill shed build will surely be worth the watch.
