Interview with NASA Astronaut Commander Cassidy

This is an interview with NASA Commander Christopher Cassidy in advance of his visit to Bangor, Maine. The interview is conducted by sports journalism major Alex Nivus, a student at the New England School of Communications at Husson University. In the interview Cassidy discusses some of his career, growing up in Maine and his upcoming trip to Bangor.

Cassidy will be the keynote speaker at the Husson University Commencement on Sunday, May 10, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. The ceremony will be held at Cross Insurance Center at 391 Main Street in Bangor.

NASA Commander Christopher Cassidy has an impressive resume. He's a former Navy SEAL, he has a Master's degree in ocean engineering from MIT, he's flown Space Shuttle missions and worked at the International Space Station.

Mainer's are particularly proud to call Cassidy one of their own as he currently lives in southern Maine.
