Giving Day 2024 with Husson's Esports Program

Here's a second story on Giving Day at Husson University, 2024.

Giving Day is a 24-hour fundraising campaign that encourages Eagles -- alumni, students, parents, friends and employees -- to give through Husson and support every area of campus. Donors are able to support the schools, colleges, programs and clubs that matter the most to them.

This year Giving Day happened to fall when students in an upper level journalism class had a television news story due. This submission was created by sports journalism majors Jackson Elkins and journalism majors Garrett Munson, Rin Scott and Trent Gunst.

The journalism class teaches students how to tell television news stories and how to create television newscasts. It's taught by the coordinator of the program, Jeffrey Hope.
