This edition of NESCom Connection is anchored by Kassadi Moore and Chris Brownell with Calvin Cutler reporting live and presenting the weather. Matt Cunha anchors the sportscast and Natalie Scott reports live from the Gracie Theater. The broadcast was produced by Martin Lidholm and NIkayla Abruzzese.
NESCom Connection is a half-hour newscast produced by the students and staff of the New England School of Communications at Husson University. Newscasts are anchored, written and produced by students majoring in both news and sports journalism. Newscasts feature the work of students as well as stories from CNN and AP.
The NESCom Journalism channel is managed by Jeffrey Hope who runs the journalism department at NESCom. For more information on that program visit www.husson.edu/nescom-journalism.
Behind the scenes the technical production of NESCom Connection, The Maine Report and The Locker Room is achieved by students majoring in Video Production. Students implement highly advanced industry standard production techniques in a time sensitive environment. These students utilize skills and training in a facility featuring industry standard equipment provided by Tektronix, EVS, ChyronHego, and Grass Valley Thompson.
