THE Locker Room February 19, 2016

This edition of the Locker Room showcases the Sports Information Department at Husson University. Our guest is Sports Information Director, Kaelyn Angelo who talks about her first few months as SID and what she plans to bring to the department.

This show also includes a Hype video created and produced by Alyssa Thurlow and Simon French of French Productions.

This show is hosted by NESCom Sports Journalism major Alyssa Thurlow and produced by Sports Journalism major Chris Footer.

The Locker Room is a public affairs sports program produced by the students and staff of the New England School of Communications at Husson University. Shows are hosted and produced by students majoring in sports journalism and generally feature the coaches and athletes of Husson University. The Locker Room is overseen by Husson and NESCom adjunct Toby Nelson. Nelson teaches Sports Play-by-Play, Sports Information and Advanced Sports Technique. He is the Sports Director at Zone Radio Corp. which owns WZON, WKIT and WZLO. The NESCom Journalism channel is managed by Jeffrey Hope who runs the journalism department at NESCom. Behind the scenes the technical production of NESCom Connection, The Maine Report and The Locker Room is achieved by students majoring in Video Production. Students implement highly advanced industry standard production techniques in a time sensitive environment. These students utilize skills and training in a facility featuring industry standard equipment provided by Tektronix, EVS, ChyronHego, and Grass Valley Thompson.
