I designed a small granny flat unit on the property, taking into account the limited space available. Instead of using the garden area for the unit, I came up with a plan to add stairs and place the unit on the second floor. By doing so, we were able to preserve the garden as it was and create a separate living space with beautiful views. The access to the unit is conveniently located from the dining area.

Inside the unit, my design focused on maximizing the functionality of the limited space while ensuring a cozy and comfortable living environment. Every inch was carefully planned to make the most of the available area. Additionally, I incorporated a covered patio into the unit's design, providing a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living. This outdoor space not only adds an extra dimension to the unit but also allows the inhabitants to enjoy the garden and its surroundings.

In conclusion, my design for the granny flat unit allowed us to maintain the integrity of the garden while creating a separate and private living space.
